History: |
NY 441 replaced a portion of the former eastern extension of NY 33 in 1949. NY 441 originally began on Penfield Rd. in Brighton. In Penfield, NY 441 picks up its current alignment and continued east into Wayne County ending at NY 21 in Marion. The eastern terminus was truncated to its current location in 1970. The western alignment was shifted off Penfield Rd. onto a newly built expressway alignment in 1971. |
Recommendation: | Extending the NY 441 designation east to NY 21 in Marion. |
