Prior to construction of the current US 20/NY 5 arterial, NY 326 continued east on Genesee St. to South St. (NY 34/NY 38) in downtown Auburn. The eastern terminus was moved to its current location in 1977.
In 1981, the alignment shifted from Oakwood Rd. (Cayuga CR 168A) to its current location. |
