NY 149's original alignment was contained to the section between Queensbury (NY 9L) and Granville (NY 22). The west end was truncated to Fort Ann (US 4) in 1939 but re-extended to NY 9L in the 1950s, to US 9 later in the decade, and to the newly built I-87 in 1962. The eastern end was extended through Granville to the Vermont line in the mid 1960s. |
