History:




The original alignment of NY 124 extended north to US 202/NY 22 near Deans Corners via NY 35, Boulton Rd., Main St., Oscaleta Rd., Hawley Rd., June Rd. (Westchester CR 310), and Putnam CR 55. The northern end would be truncated in 1980. At the south end, NY 124 briefly in the late 1960s extended to the Connecticut border near Scotts Corners via Westchester Ave. including a brief duplex with NY 137.
Recommendation:

Extending the NY 124 designation south along NY 137 and Westchester Ave. connecting with CT 124 at the state line.
